Thing To Carry

All passengers are limited to two (2) items of luggage each: One suitcase or backpack, with a maximum weight of 20kg and maximum size of 70 liters. One piece of hand luggage, with a maximum weight of 7kg.

It is advisable that you should pack light with some set of clothes, good walking shoes, camera. Light and easy dry clothes for summer wear, wind breaker for the Autumn and warm clothes in the for the Winter.

Cancellation is made over 30 days before the departure date; there will be no charge for cancellation except the forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellation from day 30 till 15 days before the departure date of the booking; 40% of the total sum per person will be charged.
Cancellation from day 14 till 7 days before the departure dates; 60% of the total amount per person will be charged.
Cancellation within 6 days before the departure date of booking or No show; the full amount will be charged. If, rather than cancel, you wish to transfer your booking to another person, we can arrange this subject to your instruction, and the transferee providing his or her full details, confirmation of acceptance of the terms of the contract, agreement to pay our costs incurred in making the transfer and any outstanding balance of the total price.

Tour itinerary

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Kirirom National Park – Koh Kong (N/A)

Head out of Phnom Penh towards the coast on an approximately three hour transfer and explore the spectacular scenery of Kirirom National Park. The name Kirirom means “Mountain of Joy” and the park is recognized for its unique high elevation pine forest as well as the many endangered animals such as pleated gibbons, sun bears and tigers that live in the park area. Go on a short trek of 3 km to the beautiful, 40 meters high Chambok Waterfall at the Chambok Community-based Ecotourism Site and experience a fun ox cart ride through the village. A delicious home-cooked lunch will be served in the local community. From here, be transferred directly by road and then scheduled resort boat transfer to tonight’s accommodation, a floating tented lodge on Tatai River that comes down from the Cardamom Mountains – the perfect place for nature lovers. Wildlife is abundant here and there is a chance to spot colourful butterflies and bizarre-looking insects as well as rare birds like fish eagles or kingfisher. Dinner will be served at the lodge. On good weather days, don’t miss the opportunity to take the kayak out after dark with the lodge’s guide. Just 500m from the lodge get to see a tree full of fireflies and phosphorescence glowing in the clear river water – just magical! Overnight in Koh Kong Province.

Day 2: Koh Kong (B,L) (B/L)

After breakfast, leave by boat with a local English speaking guide, to cruise deep into the mangroves and experience a rare glimpse of life amongst the fishing communities that live off the natural bounty of this watery paradise.

Drinks will be served en route while cruising down the waterway to a local fishing village to gain insight into local life and meet some shy but friendly people. While the men tend their boats, the women patiently mend the nets and children play amongst the stilted house. Indulge in a BBQ lunch on the beach after visiting the pagoda, school and a few villagers’ homes. Then hop back in the boat and experience the pure magic of life among the mangroves from the boat and the kayaks before heading back to the lodge in the afternoon. Dinner will be served at the lodge. Overnight in Koh Kong Province.

Day 3: Koh Kong (B) (B)

Breakfast at the lodge. Enjoy the day at leisure.

Optional: Tatai Waterfall by boat

Today spend a relaxing day on a private excursion. Away from the tranquility of 4 Rivers Floating Lodge, the thunder of the majestic Tatai Falls reveals the river’s true power as it drops 6 metres to the rocks below. Depending on the tide, the day starts at around 10am for the 45-minute boat ride past Tatai Village to the falls. A local English speaking guide will lead the tour. Turning on to a tributary, head into the heart of the Cardamom jungle to the far-off sounds of exotic birds and its secretive wildlife. Within minutes, arrive at the end point gazing down into the turbulent waters of the falls. Soon it’s time for the picnic lunch, maybe a few moments hydro-massage and a refreshing drink. Then relax under some shade for a picnic and relax amongst the sights and sounds of the jungle. Kayaks are available for the last stretch to add some fun and adventure or simply stay on board the boat. On the return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Day 4: Koh Kong – Ban Hat Lek Thai Border – Trat – Koh Chang (B) (B)

After breakfast, check out and the shared boat will bring you to the main land, where you will be transferred to the Thai border at Ban Hat Lek. After clearing the custom at Cambodia – Thai border at Ban Had Lek, you will be met by local representative for land transfer to Trat. Then continue with scheduled join ferry to Koh Chang island. Upon arrival at the pier, you will be driven to your hotel. Overnight on Koh Chang.

Day 5: Koh Chang (B) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and day is free at leisure to explore Koh Chang and nearby islands on your own style. Overnight on Koh Chang.

Optional Tour: Boat Trip – 5 Islands

We will bring you by local taxi to Bang Bao fishing village in the south end of Koh Chang. This day offers you the absolute best snorkeling places ever close to Koh Chang. With a slow boat to the area of Koh Rang. Here, you will visit the coral islands of Koh Yak, Koh Lie and Koh Thong for snorkeling. Before lunch, we will visit the beautiful beach of Koh Rang. You will be served a nice buffet on the boat for lunch and the staff will later make you a BBQ. On the way back, we will visit the beautiful island of Koh Wai. In the afternoon, the boat will bring us back to Koh Chang again.

Day 6: Koh Chang (B) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and another day is free at leisure to explore Koh Chang. The island is famous for its national park, a protected area of forests and rock-strewn bays. One of the best beaches is Lonely Beach, on the southern end of the island; as the name implies the beach is quiet, serene and beautiful. There’s also great snorkeling, diving, and boat hire is available to take you to the islands off Koh Chang.

Overnight on Koh Chang.

Day 7: Koh Chang – Bangkok (B) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, and transfer to the pier by the local representative, and board a join ferry back to mainland. Meet with guide and transportation on the mainland and continue to Bangkok for the next leg of your journey, either home, or to your next destination.
